Orthodontic Team
Everyone at the practice has a role to play in the efficient and professional way in which your treatment plan is managed.
 Your Orthodontist – Andrew Parker BDS., FDSRCSEd., D.Orth RCS Eng.
Andy trained first as a general dentist at the Royal Dental Hospital in London but soon began the specialist training to qualify as an orthodontist at the Eastman Dental Hospital. He became a Fellow in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1977.
He has lectured in Orthodontics at leading UK universities and has been a guest speaker at several international meetings in Europe and the USA. He is now an orthodontics examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and has examined students in India, Egypt, Europe and the UK.
He continues to be active in the profession and leads study groups in the Cambridge area as well as having been a Council member of the European Begg Society of Orthodontists, the British Association of Orthodontists and currently the British Orthodontic Society.
Your Support Team
Practice Manager – Gillian Shannon
Gillian joined the practice in 1997 after leaving the hospitality industry. Her role as practice manager involves a wide range of administrative duties and client care.
Practice Nurse – Sylwia Morawska
Sylwia joined our practice in June 2008. She is a qualified general nurse and is currently undergoing her dental nurse registration. She has worked as a dental nurse in Poland before travelling to England..
Receptionist – Beverley Elbrow
Beverley joined the practice in June 2007 having been a medical receptionist for the past 20 years in both the private sector and the NHS. She has worked for the dental profession for the past couple of years and found the work interesting. She has three sons all of whom have been Mr Parker’s patients and now have wonderful smiles!
